Silverlight, DLR, and the new stuff

Scott Hanselman posted a great summary on the significance of Microsoft's many announcements at MIX 07 this week.  It's a lot to process, but I am both excited and overwhelmed by the possibilities.

Scott mentions this, but Sam Gentile posted an excellent list of links from MIX 07.

I've been doing some intensive Flash (ActionScript 2.0) development for the last few months, and a  lot of WPF work prior to that. The new Silverlight 1.1 has me salivating (I'm desperate for some free time to play with it). What the new Dynamic Language Runtime (DLR) means is just beginning to dawn on me.

It's a good time to be a developer.
